As a parent of two small children I can tell you that fighting boredom is a constant battle. I am a full time working mom and when I am home I just want to spend quality time with my kids but also have a long list of chores to do. I know that I could always turn on the television and drown out their boredom with some Dora or Diego (and will admit I sometimes do) but I much prefer cleaning off the kitchen table and letting them get creative. Most days consist of a simple project that allows me to fold some laundry and get dinner on the table while the kids paint or color their project. But on occassion our projects are much more intensive and fun (those are the projects I like the best).

I started this blog with the hope of helping out other busy moms that want to spend quality time with their kiddos. Some of the things I blog about may sound simple but what I love is that everything we do is creating a memory for my kids and I.  Feel free to comment when you like and send me pictures of any of your finished projects.
